If you recall Spanky & Our Gang at all, it’s probably
for the huge 60’s hit “Sunday Will Never Be the Same” which can be found on the
group’s eponymous freshman release. A lot has changed since this LP was
released in 1967. One thing that hasn’t changed is how surprisingly funny this
song is. I have to thank my old roommate Andy for turning me on to this album,
which is chock-a-block full of great tunes featuring the group’s wonderful
harmonies.
