#1543 – JET AIRLINER - 12/17/2019

Near Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, Orville and Wilbur Wright make the first successful flight in history of a self-propelled, heavier-than-air aircraft in 1903. Orville piloted the gasoline-powered, propeller-driven biplane, which stayed aloft for 12 seconds and covered 120 feet on its inaugural flight.

Now Steve Miller’s trials and tribulations are somewhat less severe than those of Orville & Wilbur, but you get the general idea.

YOUR CASH AIN’T NOTHIN’ BUT TRASH – The Steve Miller Band

#2247 – YOUR CASH AIN’T NOTHIN’ BUT TRASH – 11/8/2019
This song always cracks me up. I think it’s the slide whistle at the end. As Steve intro states: “I’m gonna whip a cat on you right now, who’s had more trouble, trials & tribulations….” From Miller’s first of many smash LPs, “The Joker”. Hit it, Steve.
