I would like to dedicate today’s song to my niece Angela, who is celebrating her birthday today. I chose this song because I was fortunate enough to have Ange accompany me to the two James Taylor concerts I’ve seen. The first time was a benefit show at Bushnell Hall in Hartford. It was a solo show, but James ripped out the reel-to-reel to duet with himself on SHOWER THE PEOPLE. I hope you remember this as fondly as I do. Happy birthday, Ange!
