 A special tune for a special day here at the ranch: Jesse Colin Young's title track from his 1974 LP "LIGHT SHINE".

I cannot hear this tune without feeling happy. Just can't do it. Why am I so happy? First off, I started the day falling down the stairs (funny now, but not so much then) and came away with a nothing but a bruised pinky toe. My wonderful wife passed her Utah real estate license after a month of intense studying (Way to go, Babe). Finally, it is the birthday of 2 wonderful people in my life: my nephew John and his dad Jack. If those aren't enough reasons to be happy (OK, they are all a bit Rubin-centric), listen to this tune and see if your toes don't start tapping when the tempo changes halfway through. C'mon and let it shine.
