Joan of Arc was born 608 years ago today in Orleans France, which is pretty interesting considering she provides French vocals on this tune. Not bad for 19 years on the planet: sainthood, being the patron of an entire country and singing vocals on an obscure rock LP.

This song is from quite possibly the best album you’ve never heard of. If you are an aficionado, take 10 points out of petty cash. Tonio K. is all over this list, mostly on the strength of the 9 songs on “Life in the Foodchain”. The  album has 5 standout tunes – this being one of them.
