Thomas Dolby turns 61 today. Thanks
to creative songwriting and inventive videos the musician/producer/professor became
one of the iconic musicians of the 1980’s. Today’s tune is the leadoff track from
Dolby’s third release: “Aliens Ate My Buick” from 1988 and features a
voice-over by Robin Leach (Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous). Dolby still tours
occasionally but spends most of his days currently as a professor at Johns Hopkins
University.
