#1086 – COLORADO
SONG - 10/16/2019
R.I.P. Steve Cash. Cash was one of the members of one of my favorite
bands: The Ozark Mountain Daredevils. He played harmonica and was one of the
lead vocalists for the band with the goofy name and Eagles-esque sound. He
wrote many of their tunes, including this one. Obviously Cash's passing is not
an Earth-shattering event in music history, but it made me sad when I heard. I
always loved the quirky lens through which these guys viewed life. They also
wrote some fabulous tunes about the natural world. This is one of them. It
comes from their eponymous debut release in 1973.
All of these pictures are 100% Colorado . I took all but 2 of them over the
years. I borrowed one from Nancy Viggiano and one from Norm Aubin.
