#293 – GOING HOME (Theme from “Local Hero”) – Mark Knopfler - 4/4/2019
This tune is an almost perfect marriage of tone and
sentiment – if you’ve seen “Local Hero” you’ll know why it encapsulates the
film perfectly. If you haven’t heard it before, check it out. You’ll also know
why it sums up my sentiments perfectly at the prospect of moving. Sadly sweet
to start, yet joyous and exciting at its finish.
