This tune got a lot of airplay on KBCO when it first hit in
1998. The album was called “Just Won’t Burn” and is chock full of barnstorming
blues from this Berklee College of Music graduate. Of all the amazing nuggets
of info about this fantastic blueswoman, perhaps the most incongruous to me is
she comes from a wealthy Boston
upbringing – hardly the standard proving ground for the blues.
"Music was my first love. It will be my last. To live without my music would be impossible to do for in this world of troubles my music pulls me through" - John Miles, 1976
